Shirdi Sai Mandir - Sterling

Shirdi Sai Mandir (SSM), established in October 2006, started in a small rental place has moved to it's permanent home at 24770 Evergreen Mills Rd, Sterling VA 20166 in June 2013 with an elaborate three day sthapahana ceremony. Mandir is open seven days a week with all four Aarathi's performed daily. Primary deity, as name indicates, is Shirdi Sai Baba and there are Utsava Vigrahas of Ram Parivar and Sri Lord Venkateswara (Sri Balaji).

The main deities of the mandir are Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi and Shri Lord Dattatreya.. All the religious services are performed by a full time priest with more than 200 families visiting the mandir on a regular basis and between 70 to 100+ devotees gather for Sai Bhajans and Aarthi's every Thursday. Everyday 4 Aarti's are given in the mandir. Festivals like Guru pournima, Dashera, Diwali, Datta janthi, Sri Rama Navami..are celebrated by devotees with devotion and enthusiasm. We also actively involved in providing community services like food drive for homeless. 

Our goal is to have a permanent Shirdi Sai Baba and Dattatreya temple in Washington DC area.
