- Sai Baba Temple in Adelphi was opened on Apr 27, 2007. 32in. tall and 14in. wide Sri Sai Baba statue was installed on Apr 28, 2007 by Sri Kumar Varma (who is referred as Babuji).
- It was an old temple built in 1967. Later, it was renovated. The temple authorities accepted the request from some of the North India Sai devotees for Baba temple. With the help of Sai devotee donations they installed the statue of Sai Baba.
- Baba’s statue was made under the guidance of Sri Vijay Kumar Varma. When Baba statue was installed, the temple authorities thought of conducting bhajans regularly. To utter their surprise since then, they have devotees from Andhra continuing bhajans in the temple.
