- The temple was inaugurated in May 1947 with Dwarakamai photo of Sri Sai Baba. This temple was first ever temple of Sri Sai Baba in Bangalore. The temple was inaugurated by Late Sri Saipadananda Radhakrishna Swamiji founder of Sai Spiritual Centre, Tyagarajanagar, Bangalore.
- Life size photographs of Dwarakmai Sai Baba and a rare photograph of Sai Baba with “OM” in the background is present.
- Until Feb 1995 these photographs along with Utsava murties (idols, usually served during most of the festivals) made out of wooden material were worshipped in the temple. Later 3ft. tall marble statue of Sai Baba was installed on Feb 16, 1995 by Swamiji of Siddaganga Math (school). The temple is built in an area of 600sq.ft.
